This series invites you to expand your Pilates knowledge and learn about ways to strengthen yourself from within. Especially great series for those diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoperosis. We will learn, move, and then socialize. You CAN build bone with Pilates!
May 16 – THE WRIST – learn ways to protect, mobilize and strengthen your wrist during your Pilates and everyday life. You will learn specific wrist exercises as well as take a full-body workout.
June 6 – THE HIPS – learn ways to keep this important part of your body healthy. Learn osteopenia friendly hip exercises to ensure safe and effective movement.
August 8 – THE SPINE – Lengthening and strengthening your spine will help you feel better and move better. Learn ways to keep your spine long and flexible.
Each session runs roughly an hour and a half, from 1-2:30pm. Movement practice and education will be followed by a social time with other participants and the Instructor.
