Spring Breakfast Smoothies to Start Your Day

Does your breakfast routine need a spring cleaning? Try swapping your milk and cereal for spring fruits and veggies! A smoothie is a great way to start your day. They are simple to make and easy to take with you on the road. I love experimenting with in-season fruit, greens, and healthy fats like nut butters and seeds.
Here are a few of my favorite smoothies for inspiration:
Peanut Butter, Mango & Greens smoothie
Need to add greens to your day? Try this Peanut butter, mango and greens smoothie.

- 6-8 oz unsweetened almond milk
- 1 Tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 big handful Lacinato kale
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Coconut Almond Joy smoothie
Feel like something sweet AND nutritious? Try this coconut almond joy smoothie!

- ½ cup canned light coconut milk
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 banana (can be frozen)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- Dash cinnamon
- Unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
- 5-6 ice cubes
Arugula Love smoothie

- 2 big handfuls arugula
- juice of half a lemon
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 apple, cored
- handful fresh mint
- 4-6 oz cold water
